When are your services?
We meet on Saturday nights at 5:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 11:00 am. It’s the same message no matter which service you attend.
What should I wear?
Most people dress in whatever is comfortable, from jeans to business casual. Our pastor usually wears jeans. But if dressing up is more your style, that’s great, too.
What is worship like?
Our services are a blend of old and new. We have a relaxed atmosphere and many elements of modern worship, but we also use liturgy and recite the Lord’s Prayer. We offer something for everyone, from the rock’n vibe of modern worship to a strong hymn sing; we know that God works through it all. Our services usually last an hour.
Do you have Sunday school?
Children (K – 5th grade) meet for Children’s Church during the 9:00 service. Adults and families meet in Small Groups throughout the week in homes, coffee shops, and at the church building. Students also meet in small groups and at our weekly gathering called RADICAL.
What will my children do?
Children (K – 5th grade) are invited to Children’s Church, where they are sure to have a great time! Children are welcome to sit in 9:00 worship service with you until they are released to Children’s Church at about 9:15.
The Nursery is open to infant through 5-year-old children. Just pop-in to the Nursery located off the main foyer, and check your littles in before worship service starts. Children are also always welcome in worship.
What about middle and high school students?
Our worship services are designed with your student in mind. RADICAL (grades 6-12) also meets weekly in small groups and at a combined weekly gathering on Wednesdays, an incredible night of fun, worship, and community made just for students.
Are you part of a denomination?
Yes, Grace Church is part of the global United Methodist Church.
What makes Grace different?
The vision we believe God has given us is to see those who feel disconnected from God and the church find hope, healing, and wholeness in Jesus Christ. This vision drives everything we do. Whether you’re disconnected because you’ve never been to church, were hurt by the church and stayed away, or just moved to the area and left behind a church that you loved, we desperately want you to experience the hope, healing, and wholeness that can only be found in Jesus. We also recognize there are many great churches in the Pekin & Peoria Metro areas. If you don’t connect at Grace Church, we hope you find a better fit with one of them!
If our vision connects with you, we hope you’ll visit Grace Church. Even more, we hope you’ll jump in and help bring it to life. We can’t wait to see you!
