Come join us for our Ash Wednesday Service. This service marks the start of the Lenten period leading up to Easter. The ashes symbolize both death and repentance.
We will again be having joint services with First UMC for the time leading up to Easter. Grace Church will host Ash Wednesday this year, and Pekin First UMC will host Maundy Thursday Service.

For those who cannot attend the joint service but would still like to receive ashes, Rev. Keller will be in the sanctuary from noon to 1 on Feb. 18. You are welcome to come and receive ashes over the noon hour on February 18. You can come when you are free during that period of time, and the disposition and readings will only take about 5 minutes. Rev. Keller will dispense the ashes individually and keep doing this for as long as people come into the sanctuary.
