  1. when i was 6 years old i belonged to grace i remember the sunday night services and we would have meals in the basement. when i belonged the hymal had german on one side and english on the other. my friends and i use to play on the stares from the basement an d the paster would come up these every sunday. ilived lessthan a block on at 414 state s7treet and went to school at lincoln school. i would lay in bed and listin to the steam engined attack the rails going up the hill to the east sometimes the glass in the window would rattle and keep me awake; this line ran thru washington just about a block from my house pleasent memories, i attended lincoln school and today it is gone i was born in pekin in 1939 so many years ago god blesss you
