Where do I park?Parking is available off of Henrietta St (handicap & elevator access), along 4th St, and by the Mason Building off of State St.
What should I wear to worship? You're welcome to come as you are! To give you an idea though of what you might expect others will be wearing, the 5:30 p.m. Saturday Chapel service, and 9:30 a.m. Sunday Purpose service are very casual. Those in the 10:45 a.m. Sunday Faith service usually will dress more business casual.
Are your services live streamed online?Yes, our Sunday services, Purpose and Faith, are live streamed weekly from our Facebook page, as well as our monthly Grace Country service. You can learn more about connecting with our services online through our Live Streaming webpage.
How do I find where to go once inside? We have signage available, especially in the Family Life Center. There are several possible entrances though, so feel free to ask for help if you're not sure! Someone will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Is there a worship alternative for children to learn and enjoy?Yes! Children pre-school age to 6th grade are able to enjoy a worship experience catered to their needs and learning style during the Purpose service at 9:30 a.m. Families begin by worshiping together in the service and then the children are dismissed to go to the Fellowship Hall for Children's Church following the opening music set. This is a time where the children enjoy a game, music with Grace's praise band, an interactive bible lesson, and recreation time. Children's church finishes when the 9:30 service is done and rejoin their family members then!
Is there childcare available during worship services for littler ones?Yes, the nursery is available for young children during our worship services on Sundays. The nursery workers are properly screened and well-prepared to care for children. The nursery is located in the Family Life Center, it is on the right when coming in the Henrietta St. entrance.
What is the music like?We have many kinds of music featured during our worship services. For more traditional hymns, there's the Chapel service on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sunday Faith service. Our 9:30 a.m. Sunday Purpose service features our praise band who lead us in some of the latest worship music. There aren't just hymns in our Faith service either, we also have our Sanctuary choir, bell choir, grace brass, and a variety of talented vocalists who share their talents in that worship service.
Will I be pressured to give money? An offering is taken at each worship service, but you can feel free to let the tray pass on by you. Please consider the worship service our gift to you, and don't feel obligated to give in any way when visiting.
Am I able to get a ride to church? The church has a van available to pick up and drop off those who have a difficult time getting to worship on their own. This service is offered on an as-needed basis, so please contact our office at (309) 347-7131 and let us know which service you'd like to attend if this would be of help to you! Please let us know several days in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
